Organic agriculture trends in Laos

Student Activity Report

From November 2024th to 11th, 3,Graduate School of Bioresources and Environmental Sciencesof master's degree studentsPhouanevoehas been conducting a preliminary survey on organic farming in the capital region of Laos. I accompanied the survey team from November 2024 to 11, 13.

Organic produce is sold twice a week.

During the visit to the organic farming group, we observed how organic crops are produced and how organic fertilizers such as compost are made. Organic agriculture in Laos is still in its infancy, but it seems to be spreading little by little.
