Researchers from La Molina Agricultural University in Peru visit (SATREPS)
activity report
From January 17th to 23rd, Professor Luis from the Faculty of Economics and three other researchers from La Molina Agrarian University in Peru, the counterpart of the JST-JICA SATREPS "Establishment of an Integrated Forest Management System Model for Conserving Montane Forest Ecosystems in the Andes-Amazon" (CEFORAA Project), visited Kyushu University. As this is the final year of the five-year project, they discussed how to compile the final results. They also engaged in lively discussions about research on tropical forests with researchers and graduate students from our laboratory.
The project is nearing the end, so we would like to continue to put the finishing touches on the results.
